Delaware Review

The Small Wonder in United States, Delaware is situated on the Atlantic Coast in the Mid-Atlantic region. It is surrounded by Pennsylvania, Delaware River, Delaware Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and New Jersey. This name “Delaware” is taken from an English nobleman named Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr. It has an area of 2,490 square miles which makes it the second smallest state in United States after Rhode Island. As most of the part of Delaware is near to the Atlantic Coastal Plain, the ocean affects the climate moderately. The climate is divided in continental climate and humid subtropical climate. But the southern part of Delaware is different from the other parts of this state.

The largest city of this state is Wilmington and the capital of Delaware is Dover. 90.5% people living in Delaware speak only English and French is the third spoken language after Spanish. Its agricultural product includes soybeans, dairy products, poultry and corn. Its industrial outputs include automobiles, processed foods, rubber and plastic products, chemical products and paper products. The transportation system is supervised by the Delaware Department of Transportation which is also known as DelDOT. If you are planning a trip to Delaware, make sure you include Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard, Brandywine Zoo, Rockford Tower, Old Swedes Church, Hagley Museum and Library and Wilmington and Western Railroad. Visiting these places with your children can make your trip both exciting and educational. If you are thinking about making a trip but confused where to go, you can consider Delaware as one of the best option!
